With the Esports World Cup taking place from 3 July - 25 August, and the League of Legends World Championship Finals being held at the O2 in November this year, Esports are gaining traction in the gaming and sporting worlds.
On Wednesday 7 August at 2pm, Ygam are offering a free information session to anyone who would like to learn more about Esports. The session will look at the evolution of Esports, motivations for young people to participate, a brief look at qualifications and careers, the importance of looking after all aspects of health and wellbeing, and potential risks including gambling harms.
The session is an hour long and provides time for discussion and questions. Following the workshop, you will have the opportunity to sign up for further training with Ygam, who have a huge amount of fully funded workshops available.
